Who are we?

The Rhode Island League of Cities and Towns is a private, nonpartisan, nonprofit association of municipalities formed in 1968 to advocate the interests of cities and towns before the state legislature, federal and state agencies, and to improve the effectiveness of local government in the state of Rhode Island.

Our members are the 39 cities and towns of Rhode Island and their elected and appointed officials. These members include mayors, municipal managers and administrators, town and city councilors and municipal leaders throughout Rhode Island.
