ANNUAL DINNER MEETING The League’s Annual Dinner Meeting has elected and appointed municipal officials from throughout the state, many state legislators and dozens of invited guests enjoying an evening of fellowship, light business, interesting speakers and entertainment. During the Annual Dinner Meeting, the nomination, election and swearing-in of officers and members of the League’s Board of Directors takes place. Also, the leadership of the R.I. House of Representatives, the R.I. State Senate and the Governor of Rhode Island address those in attendance on timely issues of importance facing state and municipal governments. Tickets for the Annual Dinner Meeting are mailed to the membership of the League and its invited guests in August of every year.
